HIGHLIGHTS

We, the young doctors of Swarajya Vaidyakiya Sangh in Maharashtra, have established a voluntary organization to provide selfless social services in the medical field.

  • We, the collective efforts of young Ayurveda doctors, raise awareness of Ayurveda in various schools and colleges. We propagate and disseminate Ayurveda in both rural and urban areas.
  • Our team of Ayurvedic doctors organizes free Ayurveda treatment camps in Alandi and various religious and public places. Additionally, we conduct lectures on Ayurveda to enhance public awareness.
  • We arrange various lectures to highlight that ‘Ayurveda is an evidence-based scientific medical system’ under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, with a vision for Ayurveda in 2027.
  • Under the concept of “Rooting for a greener future” we actively enrich our environment and ensure the availability of pure Ayurvedic Medicines by planting trees in various locations. We also focus on the maintenance and conservation of Ayurvedic trees.
  • We provide free medical consultations and regularly distribute Ayurvedic medicines to economically poor families.
  • We create public awareness and offer guidance for obtaining the ABHA card, facilitating easy access to health records.
  • We arrange free Yoga and Meditation classes to contribute to the realization of a “Swasth Bharat” (Healthy India).
  • We organize grand Essay and Speech competitions in various colleges on Acharyas like Shushrutacharya, Vaghbhatacharya, Charakacharya, etc., to promote Ayurveda among the younger generation.
  • We also conduct grand Essay and Speech competitions on great personalities such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, etc., to foster positive values in the youth.
  • We administer free Ayurveda Suvarnaprashan Sanskar to children in various pre-primary and primary schools.
  • Under the concept of “Doctors for Society” we regularly visit disabled, elderly, and orphanages in Pune Districts to conduct free health camps, distribute medicines, and provide essential items like books, sports literature, toys, clothes, etc., meeting their basic needs and offering health-related guidance.
  • Under the concept of “Doctors for Beggars” we provide regular and free medicine to people in front of temples and beggars on footpaths.
  • We celebrate Makar Sankranti, Raksha Bandhan, and Ganesh Utsav with orphans, aiming to bring them joy.
  • We are always available to provide free consultations, primary medical care, counselling, and mental support to orphans, beggars, and individuals with disabilities.
  • We focus specifically on disabled and orphan students, encouraging them to dream big by organizing motivational speeches and visits to ashrams and schools.
  • We conduct career counselling sessions and guides by organizing motivational lecture series and speeches in various schools and colleges.
  • Our young doctors visit 11th and 12th-grade colleges once a month to clarify doubts and provide detailed information to students on studying techniques and exam preparation.
  • During WARI, we offer free breakfast, tea, and medical treatment.
  • We conduct free health camps during Ganesh Utsav in Pune.
  • We assist in flooded regions and other emergencies.
  • We arrange special awareness programs on organ donation, blood donation, water conservation, tree plantation, and promoting a green environment in various crowded places. We also organize blood donation camps.
  • To increase voter turnout, we organize essay, poetry, speech, and rangoli competitions in various colleges. We present street plays on voter awareness and conduct various SVEEP activities.
  • Our doctors provided free services for the last 14 months (from March 26, 2020, to May 26, 2021) in the dark red zone areas of Pune during the COVID-19 crisis, risking their own lives.
  • A dedicated organization of young Ayurvedic doctors has been formed to serve the community in the medical field.
